The Chardon Middle School boys cross country team won its meet Tuesday, Sept. 1 vs. Geneva and Richmond Heights at Geneva. The boys team had the top five finishers, giving it a perfect score of 15. The boys team is 3-0 on the season.

Here are their times: Logan Harris (13:21, 1), Evan Grau (13:43, 2), Jordan Zingale (13:54, 3), Ryker Prunty (13:56, 4), Evan Richards (14:04, 5), Peter Ward (14:33, 6), Liam McCartney (14:38, 7), Abran Gonzales (15:20, 8), James Ghobrial (16:02, 10), Miles Harris (18:19, 11) Abram Fabian (18:42, 12); Nathan Germovsek (18:53), Harper Hazen (23:35), Nate Latessa (27:52)

Unfortunately, the girls team was missing two runners because of illness. There were only three Chardon girls running, so the team was ineligible to score. However, the three girls running finished second, third and fourth.

Here are the girls times: Elise Linden (17:10, 2nd), Allison Wolfe (17:55, 3rd), Charlotte Vanek (17:58, 4th).

The team competes next on Saturday, Sept. 5 in the Mentor Cardinal Classic at Garfield Park in Mentor.
